Because he’s part of the never-Trump group. There were about 22 from NRO who vowed not to vote for him and implored their readers to do the same. Therefore, he wants Hillary to win.

Thomas sowell wrote in that issue, too. I still respect Sowell immensely. In fact, TS wrote a column earlier this month acknowledging Trump has a point regarding the relationship between black voters and Republicans: http://jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell081916.php3
My point: not everything someone says is right or wrong. In this case, on this issue, the author is making a lot of sense.
He blatantly attacks Hitlery in the article, while merely taking a swipe at Trump.
From what I’ve read about the subject, Mylan lobbied for govt. mandates that schools and amusement parks and cruise lines must buy this life saving product. That’s when the price got jacked up. They don’t care whether an individual has to fork over $600 and whether they’ll pass on it. It’s the school systems and recreation companies that’ll be buying them, so they’re really in the money now. Of course, the public will ultimately be the ones paying but most people will be clueless about what’s happening, as usual.
I chalk up Sowell’s opinion to old age, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
