Ethics training, in this case, is an overarching term used by the State Dept. Commerce Dept. and just about every other government agency to describe export and security awareness training. It includes proper care and handling of various levels of classified information, from FOUO (for your eyes only) to Top Secret and above. Amazingly enough, the trainee gets to learn about HACKING and PHISHING attacks.
So no, the Hillary team did not care enough to take the course, which is usually online and takes an hour or so.
The training for Hillary and her minions would be the highest level of security, so would take maybe half a day.
For the 99.999% who work for or contract with the U.S. govenment, it is a requirement. No excuses or you are out the door.

Where there you have it, I guess this is proof that Comey was right after all... Hillary didn't know she was doing anything wrong because she missed the class. No. She was preparing the crime.
Plausible deniability.

I don’t see how “Plausible Deniability” could possibly be a defense. Anyone who is too stupid to know right from wrong without taking an ethics class is too stupid to be President.

It’s not a defense to anyone but Hillary. They have to set up a narrative to give their constituents something to latch on to.
