I can’t believe nobody has mentioned the name Adrian Adonis yet. I remember when he came out to fight, all of the spectators were chanting “f*ggit! f*aggit!” Ahhh...The 80s.
I was also waiting for someone to mention Adrian Adonis (real name Keith Franke.) For the record, he wasn't gay, but was forced to adopt that persona by Vince McMahon Jr. At that point, he had gained a lot of weight and his career was on a downward spiral. He pretty much had to go along with the gimmick if he wanted to keep working in the business.
