Donald Trump has hinted at the assassination of Hillary Clinton by supporters of gun rights.
The Republican nominee was speaking at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, about the next presidents power to appoint supreme court justices. If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks, he said, adding: Although the second amendment people maybe there is, I dont know.
The second amendment to the constitution protects the right of Americans to bear arms. Trump has accused his Democratic rival of wanting to abolish it, a charge that she denies. This is simple what Trump is saying is dangerous, said Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook. A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.
Jason Miller, a communications adviser for the Trump campaign, attempted to explain the candidates comments. Its called the power of unification, he said. Second amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it wont be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.

You got it heights.
2A is there just for this purpose.
footnote to the Agnew item you posted.
Spiro Agnew while running for office in Maryland went by the name “Ted Agnew”, minimizing his Greek heritage. As the VP candidate for Nixon, the campaign chief had him revert to Spiro.
After the charges against Agnew were made, a MD Dem said they had been trying to nail him in the various re-election campaigns, “ He never stood still in one job so that we could nail the SOB, always moved to a higher position.”
“Hogwash”!!! Trump said no such thing.......he meant, if you thought the NRA was tight and sticking together in voting against Hillary Clinton....you ain’t seen a united front yet!!! Every NRA member & supporter will cast their votes against lie teller Hilllary Clinton!!! Obama/Clinton media is wasting their time, energy and hate in useless pursuit of something that does not exist!!!
Man o man. Really? This is getting ridiculous.
Guess I’ll just hide in my bunker...
Trump is like Poland in 1939. They had to fight the Nazis and the Commies.
Thanks, Covenantor. Politics seems to attract the corrupt.
He said nothing of the sort.
Therefore, the Lying Ministry of Propaganda immediately runs with the story.
I have waited for this day for a while. They went from biased, to colluding, to lying outright.
It’s number 1 on Twitter right now. Sigh.
I don’t know if they would have dealt with the father sitting behind Hillary not, but this gives them an excuse to talk about their favorite punching bag - Donald Trump.
“Trump was alluding to the intent of the second amendment.”
Bingo. I’m not sure about others, but I’m glad we finally have a candidate that understands the intent of the second amendment and isn’t afraid to say such in this PC run amuck society we currently live in. It’s the bought and paid for Uniparty media that’s twisting his words!
What’s your interpretation?
Yeah, I wish there was a block button too - to block those like yourself who are so over-concerned with whether or not Trump can avoid saying things that the media might take issue with.
That’s called political correct speak, and we’re GLAD Trump doesn’t use it!
Interesting that no comments are allowed on the original article.
These effing bastards.
The media must be assassinated before anything else.
He needs to stick too: The Economy, Domestic and Intl Safety ( aka the wall, Rule of Law, Support LE officers, and a sane foreign policy ) and the Regulatory Burden, and any other gems you can think of.
Let Christie, Newt, & Rudy Beeotch Slap Kim Jung Shrill hard and often politically.
Stay on point DJT!
Who knows about Pinkbell, but PIT’s (Paid Internet Trolls) earn a living on the internet and are on all the conservative websites. Of course they will be on Free Republic. Their mission is to demoralize Trump supporters. In April, a Clinton Superpac announced it would spend more than $1 million to pay for online messaging on behalf of Hillary Clinton and that’s probably just the tip of the iceberg. We can’t be discouraged. The polls are rigged, virtually no one is coming to Hillary’s rallies and she seems sick as a dog. Even with the lying, conniving and shameless media, she does not have this election in the bag. That is why the media, the RINOS and even the president seem desperate. They are.
The damn media lies, lies, and lies more and more. I heard the entire speech.
Agree entirely; the presidential candidate who wins stays out of the day to day fighting and uses surrogates for that. Usually its the VP candidate; Eisenhower used Nixon for this, Nixon used Agnew for it, Obama used Biden for it who beat the tar out of Paul Ryan in the VP debate. Trump needs to stay on message: the economy is crap and here’s my plan; terrorism is on the rise and this is what I would do; our foreign policy has been a failure and we need to start cutting our foreign commitments, etc. I just looked at the Google News headlines: ABC is blaring some incredible distorition, and the rest of the media is going just as berserk. Stop giving them the opportunities; if you stay on point and stay on message they HAVE to report on things such as the terrorists’ father’s attendance as an honored guest at the Florida Clinton rally.
That’s a great quote.
This is just ridiculous and you know it!
He said no such thing!
I heard it.....he was talking about Hillary going after the 2nd amendment
And the millions of 2A. folks could vote for him.
Stop regurgitating the liberal msm
Didnt Buchanan also write for Reagan or Bush-41? None of them were as eloquent as Agnew.
William Safire wrote the speech for Spiro...
