That is NOT TRUE! Cloverdale is a quiet place where people of modest means now move to to retire. We had family friends who owned a motel there for years, and we have personal friends who moved there because it’s a modest place to live.
Actually many Cloverdale residents are engaged in low density, sustainable agriculture. Between the proceeds from the crops and the profits from the Hidden Oaks casino, many of the residents, though living humbly, are indeed quite prosperous.
