From now until the end of the “investigation” any questions to the IRS regarding the Clinton Foundation will be with the following answer , “ I'm sorry, but we are unable to comment at this time due the on going investigation” and all FOIA requests will denied for similar reasons
The Clinton Campaign will if course call the investigation a politically motivated witch hunt by the vast right wing conspiracy that hates strong women and wants to prevent Hillary from doing really wonderful things, all for the children, of course.
For their part, the Clinton campaign spokesman and Hillary herself cannot take questions or comment on any specifics regarding Clinton Foundation corruption due to an ongoing investigation and will refer the reporter to the IRS to ask any question regarding the investigation ( see above).

The delay in starting an investigation was caused by the careful manner in which the investigators wrote out the statement completely exonerating the foundation. Now that they have their result, they can begin the probe.
