Prominent Black Lives Matter activist to attend Obama meeting

Prominent Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson said Wednesday he is attending a meeting with President Obama designed to help mend frayed ties between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

“We are at the @WhiteHouse right now for a 3-hour convening w/ President Obama re: the recent events in #BatonRouge & across the country,” Mckesson tweeted Wednesday.

Mckesson wrote he will be joined by fellow activist Brittany Packnett and Minneapolis-based Black Lives Matter leader Mica Grimm.

The president is sitting down with nearly three-dozen law enforcement officials, civil rights leaders, educators and local politicians at the White House in the aftermath of the massacre of five police officers in Dallas.

The officers were patrolling a protest march against separate police shootings of black men in Baton Rouge, La., and Falcon Heights, Minn.

Wednesday's meeting also includes Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards (D), Louisiana State Police chief Michael Edmonson, Saint Paul, Minn., Mayor Chris Coleman (D) and the city's police chief, Todd Axtell, according to the White House.

“I think it's the president's desire to try to move the ball forward and make some progress in helping communities identify steps that they can take to address this problem,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters on Wednesday.

Maybe they can discuss Chicago and the black on black killings going on there for years, of which even Obama, where he was a Congressman, have ignored. Or are there times when black lives don’t matter because there is no political point to be won?

That’s right; rather than finding this upsetting, I’m glad Otoken’s critics are vindicated in their assertions that he is just a leftist radical with no experience/merit for the job. I thought BJ Clinton set the bar lower for the White House, but this idiot with his Speak & Spell teleprompter takes the cake. Dems attacking Trump’s lack of political experience are silent when asked about Otoken’s qualifications.

BLM Leader DeRay Mckesson Lives In Home Owned By Soros Open Society Board Member

Deray is the black face of the white owned BLM movement. While I don't know why he lives in someone else's house, It isn't because he is poor. He makes 165k.

Both the Dems and the BLM leaders know these BLM “protests” are killing Hillary in the polls and will continue to do so. My bet is Hillary is trying to buy them off to stop and they are demanding some big, big promises. Obama is acting as the go between. Expect to see the protests stop in the near future and wonder what Hillary paid.

Are they planning for this??

Raila Odinga subsequently lost the controversial (probably rigged) presidential election. In what appeared to many—including Human Rights Watch—as a coordinated strategy from the top, (“Violence We Fled was Planned, Say Kenyan Refugees” Reuters 1/26/2008 and “Kenya: Violence Planned Before Poll, Says Report” The Nation 3/18/2008) his Luo supporters (a core of whom call themselves The Taliban”(“Ethnic Gangs Rile Kenyan Slums” Newsweek 1/10/08)) engaged in what US Envoy Jendayi Frazer called “clear ethnic cleansing” (“US Envoy Calls Violence in Kenya ‘Ethnic Cleansing’” USA Today 1/30/2008) of the Kikuyu opposition.

Odinga’s supporters went on a rampage—burning Kikuyu homes and businesses, (“Ethnic Cleansing in Luoland” The Economist 2/7/2008) raping Kikuyu women, and murdering everyone in their path—including at least 50 Christian Kikuyu woman & children who had sought refuge in a church. They burned them alive. (“Mob Burns Kenyans Seeking Refuge In Church” CNN 1/10/2008)
