Court: Officials can't use private email accounts to evade records laws

Federal officials may not use private email accounts to get around public records laws, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit overturned a lower court decision in which judges dismissed claims from the Competitive Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank that attempted to obtain correspondence from a top White House official through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Hillary was not a Federal official, she was a Federal goddess, so it didn’t apply to her.

OK judge that seems self evident. Now let’s see you enforce it.

I don't know how, but it will.

I'm sure none of these ruling apply to Hillary, BTW.

John Adams declares point blank that, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

Too many liars in black judicial robes but not all..

I think Bob Dylan fits here:

Man’s ego is inflated, his laws are outdated, they don’t apply no more
You can’t rely no more to be standin’ around waitin’
In the home of the brave, Jefferson turnin’ over in his grave
Fools glorifying themselves, trying to manipulate Satan
And there’s a slow, slow train comin’ up around the bend

James B. Comey said Hillary may have behaved unethically but hey, it didn’t rise to the level of an indictable offense.

Yeah, sure.

So now, every single governing official is going to do all their business on private servers so as to hide things from us?

Nice. :)

Comey said, saying the FBI could not find a single case in which a person was charged with crimes for similar actions.

No Controlling Legal Authority

Right.

If its a State Department employee doing what Hillary did, its gonna be a different standard.

After all, if your spouse isn’t Bill Clinton, you don’t get a chance to meet with the Attorney General to get a favorable decision.

So the question begs - was this the reason for the sudden fast rack = Tarpac meeting=FBI black SUV’s to Hillary on a Holiday SATURDAY = decision in one business day -

they knew this decision was coming down - and could mean she COULDN’T they couldn’t skate her out from under it - SOOOOOO

Get her to a ‘safe place’ before the decision?

Except hillary is above the law. This undermines our entire justice system.

I was remembering Algore in 2000. I guess if you commit a crime that is original you can never be prosecuted.
