If the data does not support your position one must ignore the data. If the data supported the position of man caused global warming they would be shouting it from the rooftops. The data is not there so they ignore real science. This is politics of the left and nothing but politics of the left.

climate change/global warming is the political tool the UN and the EU use to increase their political power over sovereign nations. If global warming is false, there is no need for the miles of choking regulations and gaggles of politicians rubberstamping complimentary laws designed to strip inalienable rights from citizens.
So his entire career was dedicated to teasing out human involvement in climate change. This is what one might call starting with a conclusion and then trying to find (or manufacture) data to support it.
It is the very antithesis of scientific inquiry.
Well, if we’re going by anecdotal evidence instead of data, then there’s far more evidence for the existence of Bigfoot, Dogman, and Black Eyed Kids than there is for AGW.
I don’t need a climate scientist to know which way the wind blows.
Which, if it doesn't support their view is deemed "weather, not climate" and we are slack jawed yokels for not knowing the difference...
Data are unnecessary? This is not a scientist speaking.
I remember well a paper on clay mineralogy that I did. My premise was totally wrong. I spent hundreds of hours in the lab with X-Ray diffraction studies trying to prove my premise. It was wrong. Fortunately my research led me to a different conclusion that was unique and I proved it.
I would have never considered falsifying my data to fit my original premise. If I did and was discovered I would have been thrown out of school and dismissed as a charlatan liar and not worthy of further studies. That is the way real science is supposed to operate.
Sadly, science is now corrupted by government grants for those that parrot the politically correct ideology. Mann is case in point. He is a bad man for science and is no longer a scientist but merely a charlatan.
This is truly turning into “1984” isn’t it?
So... if I can convince a bunch of people that the moon is made from green cheese, we don’t have to check it to see if it’s correct?

By the way, we can build airplanes from lead, which is very cheap, and we can all eat sawdust, which is cheaper, because I say so. No need to check.
