I was in an Ace Hardware on Thursday at the line to buy rifles was 20 deep at the gun counter. I was surprised at how many little old ladies (at least 5) were in line too. In and out took me about an hour last night, from the paperwork to the background check, and everything else. The whole time was non-stop business for the sales people with phones ringing off the hook. Don't bother calling. They don't have time to field queries over the phone. The most common phrase I heard was, "Sir, I'll be with you after these two guys."
They didn't have time for lookie-loos either. People were there to buy.

Just make sure .223 AND 5.56 is stamped on the barrel. If it’s only .223, do NOT use 5.56.

I was at my dealer yesterday too. Already have an AK for mid range but I've been looking for something to snipe with. The dealer had a .308 with an upper that could be changed out with AR for less than $1500. Would've bought it right there but I had just dropped $1600 to improve my bug out vehicle, so maybe next month. Buying firearms and posting pictures of them are acts of self defense and civil disobedience with guns. Thanks for being bold to take the initiative in both.

You will not regret your purchase. I have two Colts. Love ‘em both. May buy another AR type. Just to have on hand as I think Dimwits may be successful to some degree in outlawing them....

Just make sure .223 AND 5.56 is stamped on the barrel. If its only .223, do NOT use 5.56.The barrel is stamped ".223 WYLDE CR-MO 1:8"
The lower receiver is stamped "CAL. MULTI"
.223 Wylde is a proprietary hybrid chamber that can accept both rounds.

that’s exactly the reason I got mine. the dimwits are in full out assault mode on AR’s.
that said, I can’t wait to get it and shoot the thing.

This is my humble opinion-
Check out the Mossberg MVP. In either 5.56 or 7.62.
The long range versions/target model are tack drivers and shoot well past the scope.
I have shot the 700, Savage 111, Ruger Gunsite. The feel of the MVP and the use of ar-15/10 type magazines, threaded barrel put it over the top.
All IMHO.

That would be an AR-PT. the nice thing is, it can take different forms in a matter of seconds so what is illegal now becomes legal with a small bite, changing the shape.

A proper knife is a heated, long thread in and of itself.
A proper knife starts at $300 and can be custom made for you.
