The Mini-30 is a decent rifle. I like the various AR platforms in .300 AAC better, and should get one. It is a cartridge/rifle designed to work well with suppressors and with the power of a 7.62x39 cartridge. Ammo is a bit pricey, though. 7.62x39 for the Mini-30 should be easier to get.
Prices started to come down. Now they will be going back up.

Thanks - I’ve had some good advice on it and I’ll think I’ll pass on it. My dad has an M1 carbine and a Marlin Camp gun in .45 that’s fun to shoot.
