Donald Trump has inserted himself into one of the most contentious House primaries in the country this weekend, endorsing GOP Rep. Renee Ellmers in her member-versus-member race in North Carolina.
Trump makes a personal appeal to voters to back Ellmers in a robocall released Saturday. She was "the first congresswoman to endorse me and she really was terrific and boy, is she a fighter," Trump says in the call. It is the first time this election that Trump has picked sides in a congressional race.

Confusing, why did she support Trump if she is for amnesty? Why are the Koch brothers against her and Trump? Just trying to make sense of it all without sifting through all the media spin.
I wouldn’t try to make sense out of it, unless you remember Trump favors attractive women.
I’m still trusting Trump’s judgment. He’s been right on almost everything. I’m not going to start wavering now.
NumbersUSA scores her higher. I don’t know the accuracy of the site and it’s certainly possible to fudge the numbers by voting for border security on bills doomed to fail, but it’s certainly one thing to consider.
And he chose poorly.

So does Kevin McCarthy. He’s the one she’s been banging..
She is a strong Second Amendment supporter. She calls for ending the ban on interstate sales of guns.
She wants an amnesty so veterans can legally own guns they brought back from the wars, including class III automatic firearms.
She looks good from a Second Amendment standpoint.
Uh-oh. Not a good endorsement.
Ellmers rode the Tea Party wave to victory, although she has since been outed as a GOPe phony. She sold out the pro-Life constituency. She has also been suspected of having a long-standing affair with Critter Kevin McCarty of CA.
She is a typical .gov psychopath who has stabbed conservatives in the back.
Then why the Trump endorsement?
And that would be defining for me. While I am not strictly a single issue voter, I am mostly so. If a candidate cannot support the constitutional amendment which protects the people from a tyrannical government as well as the criminal elements, then that candidate is in favor of a tyrannical government.
She is an Obama kiss ass putz.
First step in his ‘deal’ with congressional leadership. We’re not going to like a lot of his deals, I am afraid. I am all in for November but not with a lot of suspicions about how much conservatism he will advance.
She was a supporter for amnesty. right now her score with Numbersusa is A- which is very high. Nothing like being primaried in a close one like she had in 2014. Her rating is actually higher than Holding who is opposing her. But, I would be very leery of supporting her just the same. She seems like an opportunist blows the way the wind blows.
Mistake, Mr Trump.
She needs to be primaried. Look at her good adversaries.
She single handedly derailed pro-life legislation in Congress.

i believe trump will take hillary, but boy, this leftist tea party traitor and scourge of the unborn must have something trump wants. trump should have stayed far, far away from her.
