It will be interesting to see if he sets a tone in the Philippines opposite of what a lot of people were expecting.
He could have said he was sorry for HOW he said it, but not for what he meant, if indeed it was a deep sarcasm meant to highlight how terrible it was. But pride goes before destruction. He might not last.
Very corrupt country on a scale we don’t understand. Killing politicians even in local elections is common. Drugs rampant. People want this guy to clean it up.
