We used to think the same think about Harry Reid. Before he controlled the Senate, he was a go along to get along Senator that never really did anything, so we were not worried about him.
Him and/or Warren.
You nailed it.
If you just wrote all this down and published it as a novel the reviews on amazon would generally say "interesting ideas but I put it down after a while, simply too crazy to be believable..."
I wouldn't be entirely sure about that. October surprise! It's Biden/Warren - the left coalesces around the two and this could tip the scale.
I am absolutely certain about this... Had the Republicans put up a standard candidate, you might have had a shot for a Dem.. with Trump, no way.
Trump will beat any Democrat this cycle, doesn’t matter who.. only difference is the margin of the victory.
Dems can’t win this cycle and they know it, all you are watching is political theater.
Correct. They pulled it off in corrupt New Jersey but most of the rest of the states will shy with replacing Hillary's name with Biden on the ballot past the deadlines.
Are these the same states that shied away from the Democrats replacing VP candidate Thomas Eagleton with Sargent Shriver as VP on the 1972 ticket?
You know the replacement that happened AFTER the convention.
Two weeks after the convention, if memory serves.
Precedent? I think so.
