I know that if I’m ever traveling in an area with nuclear power plants, I always take bolt cutters along in case I have to cut any security chains. Always!

Of course they carry bolt cutters. Isn't the Scout Motto "Be Prepared"?

Not to mention needing them when you get lost so you can go back through all those locked gates you came through earlier

Reminds me of a time long ago, came up to a chained gate across the road preventing access to a promising fishing spot.

It was a rock quarry. The chain had 7 padlocks on it, I guess so a number of people could have access.

Next time I drove by, I cut a link and put another padlock on, then I could drive to my spot instead of jumping over the gate!

However, did have to make another trip with the cutters.

These people already having cutters is weird.

Not me, when I go for long drives, I take an acetylene torch set up for the harder jobs if I get lost.

...... and I drive into a nuclear facility at least 5 days a week ....:o)
