Funny thing. I got an email from the Orange County GOP asking who I liked for VP. Lots of people on the list like around 20 and pretty much the same as yours except for one glaring omission. Newt. There was a write in spot and maybe they did that to get donations as they were asking for money.
You can scratch Condoleezza Rice. She’s not going to leave Stanford again.
Romney? Seriously?
Colin Powell in a skirt? Nope.
>> Susana Martinez <<
Now there's a decent pick.
>> Mitt Romney <<
Flip-flopping one-term new england Governor who lost two presidential elections? Hell no.
>> Rob Portman <<
Oh goody, if his daughter announces she's a crack addict, his position that crack is bad will "evolve" to accommodate her.
>> Ben Carson <<
Nice guy, but was WAY out of his league running for President. Nope.
>> Greg Abbott <<
Eh, he'd make a good veep, but it's hard to see what he brings to the ticket. Not like we need him to carry Texas.
>> Jan Brewer <<
I liked her until she folded like a cheap suit towards the end of her term. Also, she's too old to be starting a vice presidency now.
>> Scott Brown <<
See Mitt Romney, replace the word "presidential" with "senatorial"
>> Newt Gingrich <<
Has been.
>> Sarah Palin <<
Well, she's certainly take it if asked.
>> Rick Scott <<
Never understood why Tea Party groups loved this guy, nor why he was so unpopular in Florida. I suppose given most of the other names on the list, Rick Scott looks Reaganeseque in comparison.
