I have never pre-ordered a book before. Until today.

So far, Congressman X sounds like a know-it-all-know-nothing.

Oh, and he is a Democrat. Not surprising but in all honesty I am going to guess that 90% of his “confession” would also apply to the Republican Congress parasites.

The reason for the decline into America’s present nadir is all located in Washington, D.C. (District of Corruption) and in many state houses.

These careerists have dithered so long that our nation’s present state may have to be resolved by a right wing cabal. The infection has spread throughout everything that is connected to this central government and that includes the entire system of corrupted courts.

Unless the book has something like the House Bank scandal to reveal, it won’t change a thing. People already have a low opinion of congress, they are looking for someone to really take them on. Like Trump.

Most people STILL DO NOT KNOW THIS. I hope the book goes so big, congressmen are asked about this stuff on tv, etc. FReepers have known this for decades but most people do not know just how corrupt this government, ESPECIALLY the Congress, really is.

I used to be against term limits in favor of voter freedom but I have changed my mind on this one.

Term limits: no more than two four-year terms in ANY office and maybe only ONE term if it is a six-year term and NOT jumping from one political job to another.

I've even come up with a legal justification for term limits:

A career politician should be presumed a corrupt politician and if the presumption is rebuttable, the politician must rebut with clear and convincing evidence.

Definitions:

Career politician: one who holds office for more than eight years.

Corrupt politician: one in office who's main objective is his own politician future and not the future of America or his constituents.

"It's far easier than you think to manipulate a nation of naive, self-absorbed sheep who crave instant gratification."

No argument here. How else can you explain a presidential candidate who consistently sells the idea of a free lunch? Why doesn't the MSM, just once, ask something other than a fluffball question? How 'bout these:

1) To Obozo: "Why are you the only President in the history of this Republic who has sequestered virtually every record from your and Michelle's past?"

2) To Hillary and Bernie: "So 'free college' means that college and universities will no longer have any expenses; that the faculty and administrators will all work for free, as will maintenance people, and anyone else associated with the university?"

I’m reading a book that was recently recommended by a freeper that probably ties in with this:

Shadow Men: An Encyclopedia of Mind Control by Anthony Napoleon.

It ties in with our current and past potus elections, and it is a very scary book.

Trump has ripped aside the curtains, so we can see the reality of the shadow men and their pundits controlling our voting and beliefs!

This is the reason why the Uniparty is so opposed to Trump. Trump has exposed the politicians for sale, and then using legislation, by taxing/mandating/granting, and specious trade deals for the Uniparty donors. US taxpayers pay off the donor class via elected politicians called the legislative process.

If a cop accepted a police job, and with that salary amassed a net worth of 50 million, he would be quickly investigated.

Almost everyone in Congress arrives as high middle class. They leave very wealthy, far beyond the possibility implied from their salary.

To lodge all power in one party and keep it there is to insure bad government and the sure and gradual deterioration of the public morals.

Go Trump, win win win.

Seems to me a possible solution to this is to have term limits on all political and judicial offices. IMHO, way too many politicos and judges become entrenched and live to be reelected.

Limiting the affect of lobbyists would be good also.

This all boils down to money. As in follow it.

I don't believe any congressman wrote this book ... too much risk of being found out and then booted off the gravy train.

It is probably someone like the rest of us who want Washington to work for the people instead of the other way around.
