Will Disney Turn Princess Into LGBT Hero?(Disney for perverts? Boycott)
Staff

Posted on 05/14/2016 5:23:24 AM PDT by HomerBohn

Disney’s Frozen owes its box office success to a witty script, a (minor) break from the usual formula of romantic resolution, and a song that no American parent will ever forgive them for writing.

But it has also inspired feminists and LGBTers to claim the movie’s heroine – Princess Elsa – as one of their own: the first lesbian princess in Disney history. Oh yes, you can read all about it in the liberal rag of your choice. Since Elsa required no love interest, it therefore stands to reason that the entire movie is one big Gay Power extravaganza. And hey, knowing the kind of people who work in Hollywood, it even makes a certain amount of sense.

It wouldn’t be the first time these creeps tried selling our children a politically-motivated message. But theories aren’t good enough for the rabid liberals who populate the media, social and otherwise. When Disney announced plans to make Frozen 2, they came out of the woodwork to demand that the writers turn the plausible into the tangible. Or, to put it like they did: #GiveElsaAGirlfriend.

In the Independent, Clarisse Loughrey argued that it was time for Disney to give kids a gay hero. “What better candidate is there for that honour than Elsa, whose own journey of acceptance with her powers has widely been interpreted as a metaphor for coming out?” Hmm, well is there a candidate for…let’s not? Alas, it’s a losing battle.

Anyone who says, Oh Disney had better not – they’ll rue the day is harboring false optimism. Just look at the media landscape out there today. Limit it just to “children’s” programming if you like. The content regularly shown on Nickelodeon today would have been questionable on an adult program thirty years ago. And all of it – movies, tv shows, music – is littered with liberal messages and values. Entertainment media doesn’t just lean to the left, it barely acknowledges the existence of any opposing ideology. When it does, adherents are portrayed in exactly one of two ways: Colossally stupid hillbillies or evil, sanctimonious villains.

Exceptions, rare as they are, only highlight this monolithic beast. Yes, there would be controversy if Disney were to make Elsa a lesbian, but it would be drowned out by the adulation and praise coming from every corner of the mainstream media. There’s simply no turning the LGBT ship around.

For conservatives who despise all of this, it really comes down to this: Tend to your own flock. You can’t keep every strain of liberal propaganda away from your children, but you can at least avoid exposing them to it yourself. In a world quickly becoming unrecognizable, take solace in knowing that they can make your values unpopular, but they can’t take them away.

Remember the soldier who beat the hell out of the Afghanistan who was raping boys. That is your perversion in full bloom. Disgusting practices may exist but that does not mean the majority must tolerate it.

Relegate the crazy freaks who espouse the LGBT agenda in one way or another to the dumpster. Toss the White Hut fruitcake in there with them.

The gay agenda is aimed mostly at children—”teaching” them from a young age that homosexuality is normal. And now they’re using children’s characters as a “teaching tool”.

They (Disney) will knuckle under halfway.

The character will remain true and still be a hero by being VERY sympathetic to LGBT cause.

Win-win for their thinking, but everybody will hate it.

The first place to police is our own minds and hearts.

If we put on the eyes of God that always hopes for the best outcome no matter how bad the fault before it, if the one encountered is only willing to undergo transformation, we will start to see better where to go and what to do. Let’s boycott Satan in ourselves.

Frankly, I think one could open an entire book of Grimm’s tales and push a perverted construction upon them. Or, one could frame them in the manner of wholesome morality, if only as cautionary stories. I’ve even heard of perverted takes on the bible itself. Do we want to never be around any of these things because perverts can reframe things into lies? Or do we want to learn to regard them wisely?

Yes, I have been pushing back against the popular tendency to externalize our moral struggles that should be within our own hearts and minds first. Call it silly, call it vain, call it ignorant, whatever you want. I call it trying to get the best perspective and best vantage point possible.

I think that not having a romantic resolution was a good part of the film. Some people are single, have to go through a lot to get their wish, etc. Acknowledging that part of life happening, or happening easily, for some people is a good move on their part. Plus, finding out and turning down a prince because his not so good intentions were figured out was another good part of the movie.

So... a woman succeeding on her own is a de facto lesbian?

And then feminists wonder why so many people reject their message.

Women can and do succeed without hanging on a man’s coattails. If leftists had any ability to engage in critical thought, they would realize that promoting the narrative that only lesbians can be successful women is a setback to the women’s equality they always claim to support. The same can be said about the narrative that a man can become a woman just by saying so—why include real women on a sports team, when replacing them with trannies will give that team a distinct winning advantage? Look at what liberals do, not what they say: they are working hard to marginalize women.

Gee, you'd think the marginal orientation crowd would be pushing for a new movie for Jar Jar Binks. Nobody knows that thing is supposed to be in the first place, so it seems to be the ideal symbol of the alphabet special interest group.

And if Disney did make a movie featuring Jar Jar Binks, the plot could lead to an emotional attachment with Goofy, another apparent carbon-based lifeform of uncertain origin. Multi-color flags would be waving at every theater featuring this blockbuster.

It seems funny sometimes. God is busy filling our lives with signs and witnesses in the ordinary, and liars then busy themselves lying about them.

[I tell them I would not go for twice that amount!!]

It is astounding to see Christians flock to Disneyland and Disney World and pay what is probably twice the amount they would put in the offering plate for a year.

Disney pushes its cesspool of PC and perversion on cablevision and enforces their PC with products and teen stars. There are wholesome and less expensive places to take the family on vacation.

Why does everything have to taken over by the queers.

DidHand Christian Anderson think the Ice Princess was queer. Or was it just a story? For God’s sake let’s let kids be kids.

The legacy attractions are benign on their face, though there is a larger and larger tendency to work hints into them that could be viewed as supporting perversion.

The medium of the fantastic is a two edged sword. It can cut for evil or it can cut for good. It’s up to us how we regard it.

Out and out sponsorship of clear wrong is another story.

And I would say that teaching children how to view a flexible medium in a wholesome manner is part of teaching them how they should go. If you simply drill into them never to visit the battle scene, they probably won’t know how to fight if, later in life, they are unavoidably faced with it.

You may want to think this through a little more. Are you certain about everything you’ve stated?

My sympathies are in that direction too.

Hans Christian Anderson himself had a story of a hard life, rejected in childhood, and expressed his feelings about it in his stories. He was reported to have entertained homosexual crushes, though they were rebuffed. Where parental love has been denied or twisted, the stage is often set for blundering into such temptations. Notice that we’re not blaming this on what Hans Christian Anderson read — except what he read in how he was treated by his parents.

And yet his stories live on, most people who read them never thinking of anything but the kind of fantasy common to manifestly normal children. Why not redeem his stories by reflecting on wholesome implications of their charm? Putting the pieces together that Anderson attempted to do personally in his fantasy medium?

You may want to be particular about your objections so they can be addressed. A generic panning of an entire expression is difficult to defend against and the labor should not be necessary.

“Disney pushes its cesspool of PC and perversion on cablevision and enforces their PC with....”

Hey, lemme get in on this. Yeah, I had passes in ‘07 and took the young ones there up until ‘09. It was horrible. Worst vacation experience we’ve ever had by FAR. Rude, menacing Teamster employees sneering comments at my 18 month old daughter. My 4 y.o. treated badly during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. More childless-adults than children at children parties and the grownups pushing kids aside to get ahead in lines. Two butch character party workers giving handfuls of candy to princesses and when my son asked for candy they made him dance for it “dance little boy”.

Horrible, horrible place. Never going back.

That’s the same myth espoused by some to justify children attending the public school system and to vilify private schools. The result: a huge shift in the acceptance of non-traditional family values.

***He was reported to have entertained homosexual crushes,***

I read, years ago, in a National Geographic article about him that he courted and asked several women to marry him but was rebuffed each time because he was homely and not a handsome man at all.
