An Arkansas judge accused of swapping sex for reduced sentences resigned after a state commission said it discovered thousands of photographs from his computer depicting nude male defendants.
In a letter to the Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission, Cross County District Judge Joseph Boeckmann said his resignation was effective immediately, and that he would never again seek a job as a local, county or state employee.
The commission said it was in the process of recovering as many as 4,500 photos.
"They all depict young men, many naked who are in various poses inside the judge's home and outside in his yard," the letter states, adding that many of the men received checks from the judge and had appeared before him as defendants.
"There are numerous photos of naked young men bending over after an apparent paddling," the letter reads. "Please accept this as notice to not destroy [or] otherwise dispose of this paddle."
The commission detailed allegations of several men — including one under 18. The judge would often give defendants his hand-written phone number and have them serve what he described as "community service" at his home.
In another case, Boeckmann reduced a misdemeanor traffic violation and asked the defendant, identified in court documents as W.M., to bring three bags of cans to his home. After the judge offered him a drink — which he declined — "Boeckmann informed W.M. that he needed W.M. to pull 2 cans from the bags and bend over as if he were picking up the cans."
The judge then instructed him "on how to pose and spread his legs farther apart."
In documents filed in February, Boeckmann denied the allegations — saying that the photographs were used "to corroborate participation in community service."

I wonder who he supplied the photo’s to, why no prosecution and no party or who appointed him to the court.
Another year or two of liberals running the government and this pervert would be hailed as a hero.
You know what? Resigning just may not be good enough in this case. How about like 25 years in jail for using his office and position to sexually exploit young men. This stuff really makes me mad and I know others probably feel the same way. When that tolerance bubble burst, and it will sooner or later, it’s going to be a terrible time.

Throughout history whenever homosexual men achieve power, they abuse that power to satisfy their perverse sexual needs.

“He’s a criminal predator who used his judicial power to feed his corrupt desires. Every minute he served as a judge was an insult to the Arkansas Judiciary,” said David Sachar, executive director of the Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission, which had been investigating to determine if the judge should be sanctioned or kicked off the bench.
The former judge has not been charged with a crime.
Sachar said Monday that he turned parts of the information over to the Arkansas State Police, a special state prosecutor and federal authorities. He said since part of the allegations stretched to when Boeckmann was a private attorney and a deputy prosecutor, the commission will contact the Arkansas Judiciary’s Committee on Professional Conduct to investigate- including allegations from at least one witness that Boeckmann tried to pay him not to speak with investigators.
The documents show that investigators found thousands of photos on Boeckmann’s home computers of naked and semi-naked men, many of whom were identified by the commission as former defendants whose cases had gone before Boeckmann both as a judge and as a deputy prosecutor. Sachar wrote in a May 3 letter that Boeckmann still had the opportunity to resign before those allegations were added to the complaint.
Sachar also wrote that the commission planned to file a subpoena asking Boeckmann to turn over a paddle used to spank several of the young men and seen in many of the photographs.

Sachar said investigators also found hundreds of checks written from the judge’s personal and professional accounts paying defense attorneys and court fines for defendants. He said the commission is considering whether to turn those records over to the Internal Revenue Service or the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.
