Rush knows it was a joke. He doesn’t care. He’s using it to try and equate the story about Cruz’s father and Oswald and plant the idea in the listener’s mind that they’re both nonsense.
He’s trying to do the same thing by comparing leftist kids spouting profanity at Trump supporters to the kid who yelled out “you suck!” to Ted Cruz.
They didn’t say he killed JFK, their story shows pictures of LHO and Teds dad handing out hands off Cuba leaflets
Rush is saying Freebie was the designated loser, but he started to win a few and it went to his head.
Same can be said of both Cruz and Kasich.

I quit listening and have been purposely just reading threads without commenting. But I knew when I just read that Trump was connecting Cruz’s father to Oswald that Rush would go off the deep end. My suspicion were helped by his brother attacking Trump 53 minutes ago on Twitter over the comments. Well from what I have been reading Rush is in full meltdown mode.
You know what is interesting about the non-politicians endorsing Trump?
They come from areas of endeavor that are truly meritocracies. Business and sport.
In business, the results tell the tale. You turn profits or you don’t.
Sport is the same. You win or you lose. You win championships or you don’t.
In Indiana, sport is huge. Getting endorsements from the likes of Holtz, Knight, Keady and Phelps carry BIG weight and totally play into the achievement/getting things done/deeds not words theme. In Illinois, Trump was endorsed by Mike Ditka.
Again, the winners endorse Trump. Rush is just ticked off.
I absolutely believe he will keep his word and build the wall & send back illegals.
As I have said late last week, Rush has become unlistenable because of his obssesion with Cruz. That is why one other FRper and I have set up “other” radio show threads if folks do not want to post or lurk here for their peace of mind sake.
Nahh... this is how he pretends he’s not losing when he is.
Watch him go back and forth between topics choosing really safe stuff, dissing hillary, dissing gop-e easy stuff. And then once in a while he will toss in a hit on Donald.
Rush’s side is losing and this is how he loses.
