I’ll only say this.
The bashing that’s been going on has been a two way street that I have not gotten involved in.
I started out supporting Cruz and steadily swung to Trump while saying all along I’d vote for either that gets the nomination in order to keep Hillary or Sanders from going to the WH.
There has been no one banned that I know of for stating they supported any Republican candidate but some have been banned for saying they’d vote for the Rat.
The vast majority of people here at FR are adults and should be able to go through a primary without the theatrics of wanting to “get even” or insult the owner of this forum if things don’t go their way. Unfortunately that has not been the case with a few FReepers and I have no sympathy for those that abuse this site.
I think there are many people who would beg to differ on their banishment, including my hubby who didn't even mention Ted. But he had an opus 3 years ago and didn't get banned but now did for this one.
Just so that others are not confused/misled....I'm at the kiddie table where all my posts have to be approved before being posted. I not only never said I'd vote for Hillary, but actually said I'd never vote for her. Nor have I ever said that I will not vote for Trump. In fact, I was arguing from the perspective of what Trump needed to do to bring the party together and maximize GOP support.
The point is, I believed I was on the right side of the line, and found out otherwise. I would suggest that those who wish to continue posting here be aware that you can get banned/suspended, or whatever even if you don't say you're not voting for Trump.
Just posting this as a courtesy to those FReepers who may not be fans of Trump but wish to continue posting here.
I agree with what you say...I stayed out of the fray, too.
I voted for Cruz but always stated I would vote for the nominee.
I am not one to fall in love with any politician...
I will support Trump and hope he gets the nomination first ballot...We MUST come together and defeat Hillary.
