This puts Trump over 1,000 delegates after tonight.
Indiana will get him to 1,050. West Virginia will get him to 1,080. New Jersey will get him to 1,130.
NE, OR, NM, MT, SD will have 188 available delegates. If Trump just splits those with Cruz, he'll be up to 1,220+ and will only need a handful of CA's 172 delegates to go over the top.
But based on recent polling, Trump will easily get over 100 of those delegates which will put him well over 1300 headed into the convention.
Your delegate count reports are terrific. Thank you!
Since AUGUST I “been sayin’ it and sayin’ it. Ain’t I been sayin’ it?”
Trump would be the nominee. And no, after tonight, it won’t be 1300.
It will be closer to 1350.
Seems highly likely.
And that calculus doesn’t include all the “unbound” delegates.
