In an interview with AFP, actor and comedian Alec Baldwin sounded off on climate change at the United Nations.
Baldwin touted the importance and described those skeptical of the theory to be suffering from “mental illness.”

Being left wing is a form of mental illness.
Mental illness is something that Alec knows quite a bit about.
Well, of all the libs in Hollywood Alec should know more than any of them about mental illness.
I don’t think that Alec Baldwin knows that the north and south poles have been moving for quite sometime now.
ACC (Anthropogenic climate change) does not need to be real to be a powerful political tool. Politicians seek the acquisition and maintenance of power and fear as a powerful motivator when it comes to voters. Most politicians are retread lawyers so their scientific credentials are questionable at best. However, they are quick to recognize a scientific argument that can be turned to their purposes. AGW presents such an argument. To the extent that AGW poses a threat the politicians are the least equipped of anyone to address the problem.
As lawyers they actually believe they can alter reality by edict. King Canute amply demonstrated the folly of that when he commanded the waves to cease. When a “scientist” claims that “The science is settled” he is only displaying his ignorance for all to see. Real scientists recognize that science is never settled, it continues to evolve as new understanding is achieved.
Has this guy killed anybody yet? He’s a legit complete psycho.

Nope … don’t see anything in there qualifying him as a climate scientist.
But believing that a man is a woman just because he thinks so is perfectly rational.

Climate Change as being presented - a hoax, a fraud!!
Of course climate is always changing and has been since creation. But climate change is due to the natural ebbs and flows of mother nature, plus activity of the Sun. And, that’s a fact!!
Watching any of his shows is a sign of mental deficiency.
Well if you can’t trust the climate scientists and their data, at least you can trust the comedians.
In the old Soviet system, if they wanted you out of the way, they would declare you insane. During the leadership of General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev, psychiatry was used to disable and remove from society political opponents (”dissidents”) who openly expressed beliefs that contradicted the official dogma. The term “philosophical intoxication”, for instance, was widely applied to the mental disorders diagnosed when people disagreed with the country’s Communist rulers.
Today, if your views differ from the elite political narrative, they declare “philosophical intoxication” and if the Commie Left in America becomes our rulers, the charge of Climate Change Denier will destroy anyone they deem their opposition.
