Most non-Trump people think there will be a second ballot. So does Trump himself. If he didn’t why is he so hysterical about what happened in CO and WY. He knows if he doesn’t have 1237 he is One and Done

It’s revealing to see Cruz supporters and Mitch McConnell rooting for the same outcome. The masks are off.

It’s the allotment based on voting apportionment per state
That’s not equatable to going back to states Cruz lost sometimes by a huge margin or came in last and harvesting delegates with GOPe assistance and claiming it’s the rules or his vaunted ground game
Nor is it equatable to what Cruz and his GOP handlers did it Colorado and Wyoming denying voting period and just deciding WTH. Let’s just give it all to Cruz
It’s their and your only hope to stop Trump
And that’s what it’s all about but in case you missed it it’s starting to crumble
Trump is going to be the nominee
Hannity scolding Ted
Walker saying he can support Trump
Giuliani saying GOP needs to get over it and help Trump
Rove saying he can support Trump because he wants to beat Hillary
And so it goes
The GOP is starting to wake up

I think the comparison is unfair to Cruz.
He is not like a welfare queen.

700 remaining delegates is enough to mathematically allow him to win. He would need 92% of them. Not realistic, but mathematically possible.

Yes, you do. I can support Trump, with all of his flaws. At least he has said more than once that Cruz could possibly be his VP. Wonder if Trump supporters would abandon him if he picked Cruz.

You make too much sense for most of the Trump devotees to even comprehend the point you are making. If Trump robbed delegates at gunpoint, his supporters would just say “fair is fair”.
If Trump and his supporters had focussed more on the reasons that Trump is running (i.e. what he is going to accomplish) and less on the negative attacks on his competitors, he would have 1237 already.

If Trump gets the nomination, Cruz will support him too.
Don’t count out the possibility, no matter how unlikely it may seem, of a Trump-Cruz ticket.
Somehow the base must be united to avoid a loss to the Democrat nominee.
