[One of the other two is in this to help Trump.

Question is...who?]

My money is on Kasich. The fact he has no clear path to the nomination and his lack of sleazy delegate theft like Cruz is committing makes me think it. His “contested convention” talk might very well be just a smokescreen.

I would not be surprised. Kasich is not bashing Trump as of late. In fact, I don't think he ever really did except exchange some sharp words at a debate or two.

If Trump ends up with just 1100 (worse case scenario), Kasich's 144 (and counting) will put Trump over the top.

I hope that is not necessary and I hope that Trump does not make Kasich his VP pick. But in the end, I do see Kasich supporting Trump over Cruz.

I’ve been saying for awhile it’s Kasich, probably as the VP. Trump has been largely complimentary of Kasich with the exception of some scuffles over Lehman early on and a few days before the Ohio primary. Also, Manafort and Charlie Black (former partner) have been friends for years. Kasich may well get the VP nod if needed. Also, Christie has a shot at it as well, as NJ’s 51 delegates are key to Trump securing the nomination. Also, Christie owns those 51 delegates which would be huge in the unlikely event of a 2nd ballot.
