67 percent of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of Donald Trump [Cruz has 53% unfavorability]

Strong headwinds of unpopularity continue to hobble leading Republicans Donald Trump and Ted Cruz with the public at-large, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.

By contrast, most Republicans see Trump and Cruz in a favorable light - 56 and 58 percent, respectively - while John Kasich is less popular among fellow partisans (47 percent) despite receiving the best ratings among the broader electorate.

The poll finds Trump suffering little damage from recent controversies over punishments for women who have abortions and the arrest of his campaign manager, though the real-estate mogul’s ratings are still in the doldrums.

Thirty-one percent of Americans have a favorable view of Trump while 67 percent are unfavorable -- nearly identical to an early March Post-ABC poll which found he would be the most disliked major-party nominee since at least 1984. Over half the public (53 percent) continues to see Trump in a “strongly unfavorable” light, ticking down from 56 percent last month.

Cruz fares better with 36 percent favorable and 53 percent unfavorable among the public at-large; his strongly unfavorable mark is 20 percentage-points below Trump’s level (33 percent for Cruz vs. 53 percent for Trump).

where do these polls begin at??

come November they will mean nothing...the people will support Trump, as we all know THE CLINTON’S too well.

these polls to me are media driven...get out in the real world and ask people how they feel...

here in my rural area all the signs I’ve seen are for TRUMP..HAVE NOT SEEN ONE CLINTON SIGN ANY WHERE. NOR A CRUZ SIGN...

he’s fighting billionaire pacs, elites of both parties, the Democrat party,

He’s lending his own money to his campaign. and paying himself back plus interest. It lowers his taxes. He is a whiz in business deals.

Let’s not forget in the past primaries up to 17 candidates listed which splinters the vote.

The fact that Trump’s still in the race says he’s a winner...

Go Kasich go LOL

24/7 negative press and tens of millions in attack ads will tend to do that to a person. And to think, he’s still standing and fighting.

“Thirty-one percent of Americans have a favorable view of Trump “

That’s about how many people vote in the presidential election every four years. :-)

Poll: “Do you hate words like ‘loser’?”
Callee: “Yes.”
Poll: “OK, so you hate Trump.”

Every time I read one of these stupid polls, I can’t help but wonder how these people would raise their children...

Apparently in their minds, if their child is doing poorly in one area, you simply tell them to give up. There is no chance for their child to improve in their world. You simply call it quits! All hope is lost!

BS!
When he is THE candidate, Trumps support will skyrocket.
Independents I know were pissed they couldn’t vote for Trump in the Florida primary. They WILL vote for him in the general.
Don’t know about other states, but Florida is TRUMP country.

Only about 20-30% of people vote, so, even with a 60% unlike ability, it’s possible to landslide win.

And that, my Freeper friends, is how the MSM sees their role in presidential elections, define the Republican in the most unsavory terms.

I did go look at all of the pictures, it does look like him- hairline especially. I have no idea what it would possibly mean though. If he was there handing out flyers- so what would that mean? Sure doesn’t mean he had anything to do with the assassination of President Kennedy.

If the election were held today, who would be your first choice for President of the United States?

Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?

Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?

This is said over and over. How is unfavorable measured? What has Trump done or not done to upset so many people?

I find him much less objectionable than most of those in Congress or the Whitehouse or Killary (especially her) or most European “leaders” or most Hollyweird celebutards or big brained media “pundits” (founts of wisdom, all).

But why? He seems likable enough to have a friendly meal with. I don’t understand this hostility towards Trump.

The things Trumpers tell themselves to give them hope..
1)Reagan was 30 points behind Carter in 1980
2) All polls are BS(except the ones we like, of course)
3) The American people love Trump.Look at his rallys

So, inside their bubble, all the polls that show him with record breaking unfavorables are wrong because all the guys at their local bar all love Trump. Every poll shows this, BTW.

And if they believe every poll that shows Trump with high negatives are wrong,is it their position that polls showing the same thing regarding Hillary are also wrong?
