I think everyone here knows in their hearts that the real Donald Trump is the guy in that video, but they are hoping that he has changed.

I don’t think he has changed. Unfortunately by the time reality hits, it will be too late.

That video alone would doom trump. What I don’t understand is how people here on FR,who claim to be true conservatives, back this guy. I would donate to have his video aired everywhere. Once again trump own words are going to end him. If he gets the primary, Hillary could air this and sit back and do nothing else.

He’s been working on his campaign for over a year. After the way he was treated in the senate why would he hand it over. Conspiracy theories are rampant.

“Does this look like Trump was rejected?

Trump.....8,256,309.... 37.0 1%....758 delegates

Cruz......6,319,244....28.33%.....533 (plus all he can steal) “

Very good point and the same one I’ve been trying to make to these Cruz supporters who keep saying that the majority of voters are against Trump...well if that’s the case, then even more of a majority of voters are against Cruz!

I wish they could see that all Cruz and his establishment allies are only using rules and tricks to their advantage, not to the fair benefit of the voters and all candidates.

Doesn’t the fact that the establishment fears Trump above all others, say that he is the very man who the country needs right now? I, at least, believe it does.

You think Cruz could get enough women voting for him to win?

If he aims at the married ones and their husbands. Traditional families tend to vote very conservative--and for the same conservative candidate--and are very reliable about showing up.

As I'm sure you know, the "gender" gap is nowhere near as significant as the "marriage gap." Unmarried females--single or divorced--will vote for Daddy Government. So will unmarried males. Married women and widows vote conservative, to protect their households. So do unmarried males and females who look forward to being married. And so do some young, unmarried males who just like to p*ss off the liberals.

Smart conservative candidates focus on families, and don't worry about offending the anti-family folks. Maybe Cruz should take a page from Trump and offend the worst anti-family types on purpose.

But many more of those females are unmarried these days....I think I read in The Economist that there are 54,000,000 unmarried women who plan to vote. That doesn’t sound like good fodder for Cruz.

Not a slam dunk, of course. We need to work as if it all depended on us and pray as if it all depends on God (which it does).

But bear in mind that a good chunk of those unmarrieds are like my college-age daughters, who are confident about marriage and not surprisingly, big Cruz fans. And as we said, married couples tend to be conservative, and tend to show up on election day in the highest percentages of any demographic group--especially if they have a good reason to do so.

Melting the Hildabeest and returning America to God and the Constitution are good reasons.
