“Thing is that Vietnam was eventually unified under communism after we left.”
No, the thing is that leftist swine in America betrayed South Viet Nam after our armed forces had won the war. Further, the use of the word “unified” is hideously deceptive. The South was ground under the heel of the communists so brutally that they took to boats, women and children and all, risking torture and murder by communists or Thai pirates rather than enduring the communist hell.
In addition, we didn’t just “leave.” Nixon’s program of Vietnamization, preparing the ARVN to defeat the north, had succeeded. All they needed from us was materiel. It was that—beans, band-aids, and bullets—that Kennedy and his cabal of traitors denied them, breaking the solemn word of the United States of America for no reason other than the lust to do evil.
“BTW, my dad and uncle served there; my dad a former Marine pilot and my uncle a chopper pilot.”
Don’t disgrace them further by claiming that their sacrifices were meaningless.
“As for Korea, we did stop China and the Norks from taking over the whole country.”
If that commie pig Trumanovich hadn’t been betraying humanity from the Kremlin on the Potomac, they wouldn’t have gotten any of it.
“What’s POing me is all the rhetoric about Yankee go home from the South esp. that gangsta rap guy.”
If the evilstream misleadia were performing their rightful function, Americans would be aware that Koreans are racist to a degree never seen on this continent, even at the height of Negro slavery.
Those two wars are deeply ingrained in the mom’s and dad’s whose son’s were killed and are still trying to understand it all. It was all political. Now they’re trying to understand the losses incurred in Iraq and continuing in Afghanistan. For what?
