Trump Whines and Whines Until He Loses
Townhall.com ^ | April 6, 2016 | Ben Shapiro

Posted on 04/06/2016 2:50:23 PM PDT by Kaslin

On Tuesday night, Senator Ted Cruz, R-TX, won a sweeping victory over 2016 Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump in Wisconsin. Cruz won virtually every demographic, nearly 50 percent of the vote and the vast bulk of the delegates. It's becoming increasingly clear that Trump could fail to reach the necessary 1,237 delegates in order to win the nomination outright on the first ballot at the convention. If so, there's no way he wins the nomination at all.

That's because Trump has made himself radioactive.

If Trump had disappeared from the American political scene after his big win in Arizona, he'd have wrapped up the nomination by now. Instead, he defended his lying campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, after Lewandowski was charged with battery for allegedly grabbing, yanking and bruising a reporter; tweeted nastily about Heidi Cruz's looks; repeatedly suggested that Cruz had violated federal law without evidence; trotted out surrogates to slander anti-Trump women as Cruz's adulteresses; flipped his abortion position four times in less than three days; found himself on the short end of the interview stick with a Wisconsin radio host; labeled health care, housing and education as key functions of the federal government; accused the Republican National Committee and state delegations of attempting to "steal" the nomination from him by engaging in traditional delegate politics; and stated that he would likely select Supreme Court justices who would investigate Hillary Clinton's email server, for starters.

The more Trump talks, the worse he sounds.

Now, Trump's supporters keep saying he's just learning the ropes. After all, he's never run for political office before, so a few hiccups are to be expected. But Trump continues to demonstrate a complete inability to learn. After losing Wisconsin, did Trump turn down his "Spinal Tap" speakers from volume 11 to 8? Of course not. He turned the volume up to 12 with a campaign statement that bragged that Trump's 13-point blowout at Cruz's hands was actually a big win in which he "withstood the onslaught of the establishment yet again." The statement also stated openly, and without evidence, that Cruz had illegally coordinated with his super PACs, and slammed Cruz as being "worse than a puppet -- he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump."

Trump's campaign is flailing because it's not a campaign; it's a self-produced vanity reality TV special. Trump didn't bother to learn the delegate rules because he couldn't be bothered to do so. He doesn't bother to learn the ins and outs of his own policies because, hey, why bother when people flock to you for shouting slogans about building walls? Last month, he fired his data team manager and elevated the second in command. But the second in command apparently doesn't know politics, or even how to access the data itself.

But don't worry: Trump has a very good brain and hires all the best people.

By the time of the Republican National Convention, Trump will be 70-years-old. Sadly, he has significantly less self-control than my 2-year-old daughter. He's spent his entire life being handed things: money, fame, female companionship. Now he can't understand why he's not being handed the nomination. So, like Veruca Salt in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," he'll scream.

It won't work. Trump joked months ago that his strategy was to "keep whining and whining until I win." But now he's beginning to lose. And the whining won't stop anytime soon.

He’s probably yelling and cussing at all his staffers, blaming them for his loss.

Sorry, I am not buying this propaganda...almost as bad as Rupert Murdock of the WSJ smearing Trump daily.

The whining is coming from the Washington insiders and the GOPe...who willingly, is eating its own.

Trump is an original article.

Just a human being who hates to lose to losers like the oversexed but nerdy sCruz (but of course sCruz is oversexed...with a face like that, you are denied a normal sex life, even by your suicidal wife).

Trump doesn't whine any more than the rest of us...he just doesn't hide who he is.

I don’t think I have ever read an article about Trump where the author uses “if” and “could” less than “Trump”.

No matter who the republican front runner is, people just attack him non stop

Trump knows this. He knew it going in. He’s finding out about the pretend right in the conservative media, the women AND the guys

It wouldn’t be any different with any other front runner. Only the issues would be different.

Non freakin stop attacks

No idea what goes on out there in press one for English world. Not any idea

They’ll even convince people he’s racist

The dems do not attack each other like this. The impression is that they are better. They are not

They are unborn children killers and from there they are whatever follows from that

Trump knows it’s going to be nothing but attacks. Even long into a presidency

People on our side would be well advised to realize this and to also realize it is only going to get worse in four years. Well impossible if Hillary gets her hands on the controls

She was a Goldwater girl. She did legal work against Nixon and got fired for being unethical. She had tge one impeachable presidents case and pushed it further

It is trump versus Hillary. Anyone using their brain knows that

Any words against trump now are pro Hillary. At this point

If trump doesn’t win we are so screwed it’s beyond funny and back

So the stock market and the wsj and Mark levin can all just keep tapping. They are campaigning for Hillary

Trump does not intend to lose and he does not intend to let bad press stop him

But geeze. It is sickening

Ben Shapiro whines like a spoiled third grader - than has the nerve to complain about Trump whining.

Is there ANYTHING this vile Cruzer won’t say in his attempt to give us an unelectable candidate?

Donald is 8-2 in the last 10 primaries. He has a huge lead in delegates and popular vote. He will crush Ted in NY. But his campaign is falling apart because he lost WI?

Shapiro may go down in history as the most obsessive, anti-Trump critic ever.

He’s reached a level where most people are embarrassed for him, and they’ve tried to tell him but he doesn’t understand because he’s so far gone.

And what I mean about h being a Goldwater girl then working against Nixon is that she has absolutely no loyalty. To anything any idea any person any group
