No, because it will come down to the final day of primaries when califonia, new jersey and Montana vote. Almost 200 delegates between them all I think. Anyways, the person in the lead doesn’t drop out because they have proven to be the peoples choice up to that point. I’d be saying the same about Cruz if he was in the lead by the way.
You make a good point. What if neither of our guys wins the necessary 1,237 votes on the first ballot? In that case, let the political wrangling begin. Sadly, I think there’s a strong probability that both Trump and Cruz will be denied the nomination in that case. Never, ever underestimate the GOPe!
