MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin, March 31, 2016 – The Wisconsin Jesuit university that suspended a tenured professor after his blog post exposed a student’s apparent harassment by a graduate assistant for not supporting homosexual “marriage” has moved closer toward firing the instructor.
Marquette University suspended Political Science Professor John McAdams without pay during Holy Week and said it intends to terminate him if he doesn’t apologize for the 2014 blog post.
The suspension is effective April 1, extending through the fall 2016 semester.

This is what happens when people base their definition of morality on feelings, and assume that opposing views are based on personal hatred of you.
That’s where you get liberals calling dissenting views hate speech - because they assume all intelligent and caring people agree with their views based on love, and if you disagree, it is only because you hate them, so expressing those views is expressing your hatred of them.

Your post can be interpreted in several ways depending on who “you guys” actually is referring to. It could be referring, for example, to the school leadership and the graduate assistant just as easily to the professor and student in question. So I’ll not draw any conclusions on this post without further clarification.
As for the “values” of the school administration, I would quote Zephaniah 1 to them to cover the Lord’s attitude towards those who depart from Him to follow their own ways (not just Romans 1):
