The net result of everyone going to college these days is that college standards have been lowered to be what "everyone" can handle.Well said.
That COLLEGES now have courses in remedial math and English .. because the students they admit need these courses ... is beyond depressing.

That COLLEGES now have courses in remedial math and English .. because the students they admit need these courses ... is beyond depressing.Affirmative action and the cult of Diversity has made an already bad problem worse. A lot of universities devote a big portion of their resources to "bilingual education" to remediate non-existent English skills among immigrant students.
