In the latest report to undercut President Obama’s “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it” promise, the Congressional Budget Office projects millions of workers will leave employer-sponsored health plans over the next decade because of ObamaCare.

Some will opt to go on Medicaid, but others will be kicked off their company plans by employers who decide not to offer coverage anymore, according to a new CBO report titled, “Federal Subsidies for Health Insurance Coverage for People Under Age 65: 2016 to 2026.”

“As a result of the ACA, between 4 million and 9 million fewer people are projected to have employment-based coverage each year from 2017 through 2026 than would have had such coverage if the ACA had never been enacted,” the report, released Thursday, said. …

And slowly, they will all go to government sponsored and controlled plans of one kind or another. After that, Leftists just close the doors, and the sheep are captured.

Of course it will. This, in turn, will lead to what has just happened in Massachusetts, a call for single payer. Those in government, and those working for them, are generally not geniuses, and their plans have thus been very transparent, though tragic and misguided.

Do the opposite and go back to marketplace healthcare.

Remember the doctor with the blackboard listing all his prices for services?

Yet these people will have to get insurance or pay the stupid tax or fine whatever they are calling it these days.

Extortion is what I call it. The only winner is the government.

Back when Obamacare was first passed the HR manager at the Fortune 500 company where I worked told me the plan discussed at the meeting he had just attended. The company planned on stopping all of its insurance plans and putting all employees on the government plans. Later, the CEO was warned by the administration that they had better not do it, at least not while Obama was in office.

Oregon and The Netherlands have a law in common.

A particular law forcing people over 60 to pin a note to their clothes before going to hospital. On the note, one should write in big, bold letters: “please don’t kill me!”

You’re right in that it’s probably not going to restrict itself to Oregon very soon.

“As a result of the ACA, between 4 million and 9 million fewer people are projected to have employment-based coverage each year from 2017 through 2026 than would have had such coverage if the ACA had never been enacted,” the report, released Thursday, said.

Guess the "one mall step for wealth redistribution, but a giant leap for socialism" failed miserably.

But in the debris of the wreckage left behind are gigantic new designed-to-fail socialist welfare programs with ever growing unsustainable new members. Medicaid and 'permanent disability Social security' come to mind.
As with every such system attempted before, shared misery will be the rule of the day. It's just a matter of how long it will take.

The only consolation I feel is that eventually all the "snowflakes," the welfare family dynasties, the "safe place" mental deficients, and the dope culture of insolents will all have to work or starve, along with my grandchildren and their grandchildren.

In my estimation, my grandchildren and their grandchildren will survive.

Remember the doctor with the blackboard listing all his prices for services?

I hade become close to my doctors since long before Obamacare, when my job covered medical coverage.

In the last year or so I had the opportunity to ask and been granted access to the "official" ever changing codes for permitted claims for medical services charged to medicare (of which I am a member.)

The list runs into the tens of thousands! The paperwork alone easily has doubled the cost of every medical diagnosis and treatment procedure, from the trivial to the most serious.

That this has also resulted in increased unnecessary deaths is indisputable.
