On March 16, 2016, Dr. Ben Carson spoke to Yahoo News and Finance Anchor Bianna Golodryga about his support for Donald Trump despite Trump previously comparing Carson to a child molester. Carson said, "You have to admit to a degree that it did work." He continued, "A lot of people believed him."

They buried the hatchet, so to speak. Doesn’t stop the drivebys from picking at it.

And yet Carson is backing Trump for President.

Newbie.

I think Carson’s exceedingly tepid endorsement spoke volumes.

While I agree that his endorsement of Trump is tepid he’s kind of a low-key guy anyway.

Carson, the day he endorsed Trump said that he had forgiven him and realized it was just ‘politics’...

The media just likes to stir stuff up to try and make people think they are ‘important’ which they aren’t, we have found out about how they lie and how dishonest they are...

Media lies and unimportant crap...go talk about something important, like how the history of St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow..

I don’t know ANYBODY who believed him!

Carson is simply too low-key..not dynamic..to be president. He simply couldn’t do it for himself.

People like ‘power-people’. Even children recognize power people. The polar opposite to the power person is the bullied child.

That’s Carson.

Yes, he’s a smart man, a good man, an awesome accomplished physician, but he is NOT a PRESIDENT. He wasn’t born for the presidency. That’s not his fault, nor is it Trump’s fault.

Of all the chatter, I’ve not heard a single soul say they believed Carson was like a child molester. If anything, most people have a deep respect for him even as they recognize he’s not a president.

Dr Carson is a much better man than I. Where I come from if you compare a man to a child molester , one of you doesn’t walk away from that conversation.

People do not care. Do Hillary voters care about the stupid things she says everyday? The answer is no. Hillary could have another Benghazi and still be nominated by the goofy Democrat Party. People who like Trump, like Trump.
They want something different. They are looking for someone who will actually do something about Obama’s policies which they resent. They also resent the Republican establishment pledging to take action, but never follow through on promises.

Sooooo, it’s okay for Trump to call Carson a child molester, but heaven help Ted if he says you are about to drop out after you leave the campaign trail.

I don’t think that makes him a better man, I think it makes him look weak. I couldn’t believe how passive he was/is about the whole thing. I have lost a lot of respect for him because he didn’t stand up to the Donald but choose to blame his loss in Iowa on Sen. Cruz, which wasn’t the case.

So to speak is right.

What a crazy cycle this is.
Christie the hostage/wiping boy
Carson the ever reluctant endorser/supporter
I wonder if Cruz will be the strait man if he can’t get enough delegates to block a majority push by trump?

If he does, we have the makings of a great Whitehouse sitcom.

Eccentric and bombastic President
Sarcastic but brilliant low key Secretary of Education
Tough on the outside but low self esteem AG
Highly educated but somewhat geek VP

I’d watch it. I think I could write the pilot pretty quickly.
