I myself have had suits, trousers and shirts custom made in China.
Can't knock their great tailoring skill.
They still use thread and needle vs glue.

I have a suit made by a tailor from Hong Kong who comes to NYC a couple times a year. Excellent quality; great custom fit; excellent price for the quality and fit. But, I’m not running for POTUS on the platform of “Bring the jobs back to the USA” while wearing a Chicom suit.
