speaking as someone who COULD NOT support Ted anymore after his comments about the riots in Chicago, I don’t see how these threads do any good.
I’m voting for Trump in the primaries, but if what happened the other night did not change a person’s view on him, nothing will.
that shots at him in threads may, though, keep cruz supporters home in November.
spite and anger are real I experienced the feeling many times when I was on the other side.
leave ted and his followers alone.
he’s dead in the water now. Dead to me.
rubbing salt helps no one
People are disappointed that flawed people are in fact flawed.
I keep getting the sense that folks are hankering for an idol. And they’ll call you out in a moment if you pick the wrong idol, calling it idolatry. About those who agree with their pick, they have less to say.
Some political situations seem more promising than others, in spite of the flaws. One could do worse than to become populist in a situation where government has been ignoring the people. However this can’t be treated as a set-and-forget affair. We can’t chuck some kind of savior over the transom to Washington and then just wish and hope for the best. Dialogues will have to go on for the entirety of such a presidency.

Is that all it took? Well, the constitution really doesn’t matter anyhow. What the heck.
