Been to Cape Breton ... its a whole lot o’ woods and not much else. Very few cities, hotels, restaurants ... however you do have the opportunity to see one of the highest daily tide changes in the world if you chose to drive up from Halifax past Truro. I did enjoy going to Louisbourg and taking the tour of the French fortress. The hippies would even consider it too remote to participate in modern civilization.
