Jonathan Greenblatt’s experience for that job appears to be his early business career as an entrepreneur and Starbucks, and five or six years in the Obama administration, as the Director of the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation. Even if he’s a master manager, his qualifications for his current position elude me. One would think they’d include some work, either academic or preferably real world, combating antisemitism. He’s clearly a political animal.
