I have always said Rush is a Tory, not a philosophical conservative. He may ape some conservative-ish points to fill a gap in the marketplace and retain his audience so that he can charge confiscatory premiums for advertising, but for more than fifteen years I recognize that he is a status quo sorta guy. is bilion-dollar empire has amputated any philosophical conservatism he ever had.
