This Man Lived With Trump 50 Years Ago…
USA POLITICS INSIDER ^

Posted on 03/08/2016 10:56:44 AM PST by UMCRevMom@aol.com

Over the weekend, a man who attended high school with conservative businessman Donald J. Trump just shared something incredible about Trump on Facebook… and he is "aghast" by how the liberal media is treating him! His name is Peter Ticktin, who is now a lawyer. Ticktin and Trump both attended the New York Military Academy. And while Ticktin doesn't get involved in politics, he felt like it was time to speak out about his former classmate.

His post on Facebook, which is going viral, explained, "If you saw a guy get publicly smeared, and you knew him well from the days you were friends and seniors together in high school, if you knew him to be a decent and honest man, would you want to say something? This is why I need to share what I know."

And he is no fan of Marco Rubio's:

I was aghast at watching last night's debate. It was a set-up. The moderators, Cruz, and Rubio were all like little alligators trying to take a bite out of Trump. Yes, Donald Trump has had some failures, but he has been exceedingly successful. None of this came out. Instead, there was a general attack. Rubio simply makes up lies. He pretends that Trump has small hands and makes fun of him for something which isn't even real. He pretends that Donald wets his pants, and makes fun of him, as though it was true, and then he calls Donald Trump a "Bully."

And, Ticktin noted that everyone in the class has nothing bad to say about Trump: "Of the 99 guys (no girls in those days) in our class, there is not one who I know who has a bad word to say about Donald Trump."

And he added:

People don't really change much from the ages of 17 and 18, and I know this guy. I know him to be a good decent guy. We lived and breathed an Honor Code in those years. It wasn't just a rule. It was our way of life. Neither Donald, nor any other cadet who graduated with us would ever lie, cheat, or steal from a fellow cadet. These values became irreversibly intertwined in the fabric of our personalities, of who we are.

And it's clear Ticktin believes Trump is the best man to clean up the mess President Barack Obama has made during two terms:

[Trump] is a decent honest guy who loves this country, and who is willing to sacrifice so much of what is left of his life, because he knows that this country needs to be fixed, and that it is going to require someone who can do the job. He just doesn't see anything around him other than political hacks, so he is willing to take this huge responsibility.

Here is the full post, which has been "Liked" more than 20,000 times in 48 hours. It's amazing to watch a former Trump classmate willing to publicly take on the biased media and explain the truth about Donald Trump:

What an incredible announcement from a man who knows Donald Trump well. Clearly, Trump is a man of great character and would make a great President.

...not to mention cutting taxes and regulations, strengthening national defense, drilling like crazy for oil to make us independent, supporting our allies and undercutting our enemies.

If that’s liberal, then so am I.

I appreciate this mans word.
I am a Cruz man, but I can see and appreciate what trump is saying.
If I vote for Trump, it won’t be because of the bilge I’ve read from posters at FR and their cult of worship for the man. It will be because I thinkhe will be better for the Country than any scummy, commie Rat, hands down.

If he were NOT honest every example of his dishonesty would be getting smeared. And for months. Anyone who doesn’t think that is stupid

Exactly. Anyone know him in ANY of the colleges he allegedly attended? *Crickets*

No, well how about details of his “spring break” visit to Pakistan in 1981? *Crickets*

So, does this mean it’s okay to bring up something trump said or did more than a year ago now or is that still taboo?

Selectively honest I was say...

I know Townhall is the bane of all trump supporters currently but they do have an article that will give you a heads up on the attacks that are coming his way in regards to Trump U.

It won’t be pretty. As I predicted pretty early on, they have and old dude who spent too much and a single mom type on videos...

The smears (true and untrue) are really just getting started.

This is the opposite of those who went to school with Cruz and apparently a whole slew of them cannot stand the guy...have said horrible things about him. I know because I’ve read various articles about people who know Cruz and what they have to say. They aren’t afraid to use their names either.

I agree...I think the terms have been co-opted and have less meaning then they used to.

Cruz's deeds in the Senate aren't anywhere close to what I'd call “The One True Conservative” that he likes to call himself.

Obfuscation...trickery from a person whose only specialty is twisting words.

Media still holding fire on Trump. When he gets nominated they will simply make up lies that sound like they could be true.

I don't know. I'm just surprised because this is the first time I've seen someone call him a "conservative." Personally, I wouldn't call him a Liberal (the Liberals I know hate his guts). But, I don't know if positions on many issues - other than trade and immigration. To me he is a "moderate conservative." I don't know if he'll take a stand against gay marriage, etc. I don't know who his choices would be for the Supreme Court.

As a businessman, I think his a fiscal conservative.

I support him, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Cruz probably represents my opinion better than Trump, but I believe he would get destroyed by the MSM.

Being Conservative means supporting stupid Trade Deals which marketers sell as Free Trade, but in truth just another government program trade deal that redistribute wealth from US to other countries
