This website was created to bring to the public's attention the gross incompetence of New York State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman. In the case of Trump University, the situation is even more disturbing. While Schneiderman’s investigation into Trump University first arose out of a larger inquiry into for-profit schools that accepted federal funding, his office quickly learned that neither Trump University nor its students had ever received any form of federal funding, subsidies or other government aid -- and offered all of its students a 3 day money back guarantee if they were not completely satisfied.

It’s not like a number of these online universities and other schools have sterling reputations. Many of them play for suckers large numbers the working class, into loans and as a method to fleece the federal financial aid programs.
Trump tries a new business line. Either it works or it doesn’t. Not every business venture is a great success. But he is at least willing to try thing that are outside of his area of expertise. Sometimes the dice come up craps.

The more apparent inconsistency is that Covais–seeking to demonstrate that Trump University had an accommodating refund policy–declared that the company had issued 2,144 refunds to 6,698 attendees of the $1,495 three-day program, or 32%. That a third of the customers demanded refunds is hard to reconcile with a claimed 98% satisfaction rate, especially since the mass of plaintiffs now suing claimed that they, too, wanted refunds but were, they claimed, told they could not get them because they did not ask for them within 72 hours of the first day of participating in a program. Similarly, the refund rate for the $34,995 program, which according to the lawsuits was tougher on giving money back, was 16%. If at least 31% of one group and 16% of the other were so instantly dissatisfied that they immediately demanded refunds, how could 98% have been satisfied?
