Donald J. Trumps series of victories on Super Tuesday complicated the Never Trump movement that has been percolating in corners of the Republican Party, leaving the Manhattan businessmans remaining rivals struggling for new ways to halt his march to the presidential nomination.
After months of carefully plotting their primary state strategies, campaigns were left crunching numbers on Wednesday morning and dusting off history lessons about contested conventions and arcane ballot rules.
On the face of it, campaigning proceeded as usual on Wednesday, with Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio set to touch down in Kansas and Michigan for rallies; Kansas holds its caucuses on Saturday and Michigan has a primary on Tuesday. But the race was again upended after an evening when Mr. Trump gained still more momentum amid record Republican turnout, while Mr. Cruz stole some of Mr. Rubios recent thunder with wins in Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska.
-snip-
For Mr. Rubio, the Florida senator who has managed only one victory, in Minnesota, the challenge remains how to shake off the loser label that now haunts him.

Hashtag movements are gay.
It’s OVER!
It’s “OVER” because the “people” have spoken...from MA to GA to TN to SC...it’s OVER!
Now it’s time to turn our GUNS towards the real OBSTACLE to Making This Country Great Again!
The SEC voted for Trump. The big 12 (really 10) voted for Cruz.
They think they’re fighting Trump, when they are actually fighting with the millions of people who have said “ENOUGH!” and are voting for Trump.
I don’t get how they didn’t see that coming. Totally useless leadership.
Perhaps they could join forces with the Coffee Party
or No Labels.
Hey Mr. Berlin, were you not the same individual who felt multiple cops beating to death a homeless unarmed mentally ill Kelly Thomas in Fullerton was reasonable and justified?
Interesting pattern.
Wow drag, you coming at me about a case from 4 or more years ago, again. I notice a pattern about you.
Yeah, it’s hard to forget someone like you.
Here, you can have your thread back.
Don’t run like a coward drag. Explain to people how your post is relevant to #NeverTrump and “my pattern”.
Also you left out the small detail that you wanted five cops put in jail for murder but only two were put in trial and found not guilty by a jury.
Too bad you are all hell bent about it but that is your problem not mine.
While they weren’t looking most of the base joined the “Never Never Trump” movement and voted for the Donald.
And you call me the coward? Very interesting thought pattern ya got there Mr. Berlin.
See ya!
On January 13, 2014, former Fullerton police Officer Manuel Ramos was acquitted of second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 2011 death of Thomas. Former Cpl. Jay Cicinelli was acquitted of involuntary manslaughter and excessive use of force.Yes you are a coward and a loon who sees "a pattern" in #NeverTrump and this case from 5 years ago. Don't run, explain that pattern.
Btw, as I recall I kept saying wait for the investigation while you spammed my with that picture and kept demanding all five cops go to jail for life, for murder.
Didn’t quite go your way did it?
When those policemen were found not guilty - I didn’t hear a peep about it from you, coward.
“They think theyre fighting Trump, when they are actually fighting with the millions of people who have said ENOUGH! and are voting for Trump.”
Exactly, they don’t realize that by opposing Trump, they are being tyrants. They want We the People to only be able to vote for their choice of candidate, not for our own choice. It’s time for them behave sanely, rationally and loose the hostility and allow others, We the People to elect our choice not their choice. Because people will pay them back somehow. The GOP will suffer, either folks will stop voting or they will vote Dem, not because they want to but just to pay the GOP back. What’s the difference between voting for the candidate you don’t want and the other candidate you don’t want? Not much and many of us GOP have been voting the we really don’t want GOP candidate for years, so why not vote for the party of the beast instead?
Everyone was innocent eh? Nothing happened? Nothing illegal? It was all legitimate?
You haven't a clue. It turned the GD city upside down. Did ya miss that part?
Didnt quite go your way did it? When those policemen were found not guilty
Now the rest of the story.
While most in the state were outraged, local unionized law enforcement personnel showed support by raising money for their bail and criminal defense but the public wanted them held responsible.
Three council members were successfully recalled by Fullerton residents. Another Fullerton City Councilman Bruce Whitaker stated there was a cover-up of the beating of Thomas. Many agreed based on evidence.
The police chief of Fullerton resigned.
Fullerton paid Thomas's mother one million dollars in a settlement.
Those how initially called the cops? Reeves a bouncer made statements to investigators claiming the Slidebar restaurant had a policy to do "anything necessary" to keep loiterers out of the area and that his manager lied about Thomas breaking into cars when calling the police to get them to respond more quickly. Soon after making statements to investigators about what he saw that night he claims his managers were furious at him and and fired him two months later.
Thomas's Dad sued the city of Fullerton and they settled for $4.9 million.
Officer Ramos' employment was terminated 1 year later. Most all the others involved in this brutal beating no longer work for the city. Funny, how you forgot to mention what really happened to that city in the aftermath.
Of course knowing your character like I do, this is of no surprise. You're just a disgusting individual.
Now, back to your pro D.C. establishment deceitful thread.
In response to “never Trump”, I am one of legion that “ditched and switched” TO vote for Trump.
