Cruz would have run away with the primary and Trump never would have gotten in the race if Cruz had said these things (specifically ‘seek out and deport’) before Trump had.

If Cruz had occupied the build a wall, no surrender, no amnesty ground there would not have been a Trump campaign.
That space was left open by all the other candidates.
It’s something the citizens have been clamoring for and Trump answered the call.
Just the month before Trump got in the race, Cruz stabbed us in the back with Fast Track for Obama for TPP. That was a mistake.
