A survey published on Wednesday shows 44 percent of Germans want the government to set an upper limit on how much companies can pay their employees.
The number of respondents in favour of Germany setting a maximum salary clearly outweighed those who were against it, with only slightly over a quarter saying it was a bad idea. Twenty-nine percent, meanwhile, were undecided, the survey by Die Zeit showed.
The idea was particularly popular in former communist east Germany, where a majority of 58 percent said they wanted salaries capped.

East Germany is back on top, Baby!!
Get us out of NATO.
Why are tying ourselves to these self-destructing, self-loathing, progressive statists?
Oh, yeah - its because that’s what we are becoming too.
How about a limit on how much graft ‘public servants’ can take in a year..
I the past, I would have said this was good news for the US because all the smart, productive Germans would start emigrating to the US. But the US is so screwed up with Welfare State class resentment these days that no one views us as the land of opportunity anymore.
Did they ask how many thought having someone else decide that was a good idea?
Will there be a maximum wage for soccer stars?

Not to be confrontational, but we are behind on the socialism thing. Europe and parts of Asia are way out in front. I think what is hurting us are the winds promising change making it difficult to plan.
Cue the exit of the highly skilled and productive in 3...2...1...
Attention German cucks: This is the same mindset that elects the politicians who are allowing your country to be invaded.
If you took that same survey here you’d be shocked by the results.
Germany is just reverting to the result of their last free election.
minimum wage = socialism
maximum wage = communism
Funny in Germany you can’t own Fascist symbols but hold fascist views...
That is scary and says much about the mindset of Germans.
At least they are logical.
A minimum wage makes no logical sense without a corollary maximum wage. I wish more people understood this.
If you can establish a minimum, why not a maximum. In both cases you are saying there is no incentive to achieve. It will most certainly send those who wish to achieve fleeing and leave the remains to the communists.
Only when the government works like it can be abolished at any moment will we have freedom.
Can't remember the exchange between the manager and the cleaner about why the Nazi memorabilia is legal at the club.
We need to recruit German’s top people as refugees. lol
You’d think this would be the last thing the euro-socialists would want.
Where are they going to get their taxes paid?
