VIDEO: Hillary tries preacher routine at gospel awards show

by Olaf Ekberg

Hillary Clinton crashed a gospel awards show over the weekend where she momentarily posed as a preacher during the festivities.

Though the 31st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards will be broadcast March 6, an audience video of Clinton’s remarks leaked early.

“We all face troubles don’t we,” she told the audience. “And it’s easy to get discouraged. And then all of a sudden maybe you hear a song in church, you hear it on the radio, maybe a friend is singing it,” she said, before reciting a portion of “His Eye Is On The Sparrow.”

“I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free,” she said to shouts and cheers. “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know he’s watching me.

“And all of a sudden those clouds lift and you know you can go on again. So I know this is not just about music. It truly is about the message. It’s about the Gospel and all that it means to so many of us.

“So I want to thank you. I wish all of you well — not just in these awards but in every day, in every way,” she said, channeling a song writer.

“And I am grateful that you are in our lives. A lot of people need to hear that message and you are helping to deliver it.”

It an interview after the event, Clinton said she is a “person of faith.”

The ONLY guys that I know that have ever quoted scripture to me outside of a church are a) ex-cons b) someone who wants something out of me (usually my wallet or my vote)

Oh for the love of smeg.

It’s his MOTHER’S Bible. Wrapping it like this is the LEAST he can do to keep a family heirloom in one piece.

Your loathing is getting to your brain.

Just showing her target audience how little she thinks of them...and they eat it up. Unreal.

Let me guess. She took up a collection!

Then she threw all the money up in the air and screamed;

"All that stays up is God's, and all that comes down is mine!".

Then she cackled.

Wrong again, genius...

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump holds a Bible given to him by an audience member at a campaign rally in Windham, New Hampshire, Jan. 11, 2016.

The point I was making is that it is a PROP, just as the veterans are to Trump...a means to an end. Doesn’t matter who it belongs to, it means nothing to him since he’s never read it, let alone follow it. Put down the Kool-Aid, it causes brain rot.

I think in Trump or Hitlery's case, it's both!

Before reciting a portion of "His Eye Is On The Sparrow"...

Sample:

"Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. Don't do it!"

Well, since you’re such a great mind-reader, why don’t we just make YOU President? Or better yet, since you’re so wise, how about we make you king?

Oh wait.

Maybe I got the context of the picture wrong, but you still have no proof for your assertions about what’s going on in Trump’s mind, and you still think that throwing around insults and snide remarks will somehow make us wake up and think exactly like you.

Twit.

I’m not quite sure how this country turned to such disdain for those who are successful.

My generation looked up to those who were able to become successful in the private sector, and we worked hard for our own success.

The current generation wants to destroy other people based on their success in life, thinking somehow this will help their situation.

I never thought I would see that in America.

I think this is why Bernie is doing so well.

When your "success" comes from government favors & subsidies, special tax breaks, cronyism and graft that's not business...that's CORRUPTION!

It’s got to be the education that has fallen in this country, I can’t think of any other reason why people would support her. I try to put myself in the minds of these people who support her, and all I can come up with is that they have been so indoctrinated, so brainwashed by some source, that they literally think Democrats can do no wrong, and EVERYTHING is the fault of Republicans. Where would they get such a mindset? It has to be from our education system because parents usually don’t ram politics down their kids throats, not to the point of where they would think like this. I mean some do, but not on this level of where she would get such support.

Well, I guess you are correct, I guess Buckley did think that 17 years ago Trump was a narcissist.

That should put a nail in Trumps campaign......

If only. The man hasn’t changed in 17 years and certainly hasn’t “evolved” to anything remotely resembling a conservative.
