Yahoo has begun shutting down some of its digital magazines as part of the struggling online pioneerâs latest reorganization plan.
In a blog post, Yahoo global editor in chief Martha Nelson announced plans to start phasing out some operations as it focuses on connecting with readers for news, sports, finance and lifestyle.
âTo that end, today we will begin phasing out the following digital magazines: Yahoo Food, Yahoo Health, Yahoo Parenting, Yahoo Makers, Yahoo Travel, Yahoo Autos and Yahoo Real Estate,â Nelson said.
âWhile these digital magazines will no longer be published, you will continue to find the topics they covered, as well as style, celebrity, entertainment, politics, tech and much more across our network.â
Yahoo chief executive Marissa Mayer earlier this month announced âa strong plan calling for bold shifts in products and in resourcesâ to help revive the companyâs fortunes.

Yes, it was indeed depraved. I would wonder who could possibly follow their ridiculous advice but there would be comments below the article that would make you fear for the future of their children.
I don’t when it started (Marissa’s arrival?), but over the years, Yahoo has morphed into an annoying clearinghouse for all things trendy and leftist.
Add to that this incessant need to “update” features that worked semi-okay (Yahoo Answers, etc.) and make them increasingly less user-friendly and functional, and it’s enough to make anyone normal blow a gasket.
Trolling leftist tools in the comments of Yahoo News has been one of the great joys in my life.
