With President Obama’s public refusal to attend the funeral service for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, he demeans the office in a way that transcends politics and exposes him as a small man who never grew into his job.

Another thing the president must do is show up at events that matter, that are markers in history, and to represent the American people because we can’t attend.
President Obama shows up only when he wants up, only when it matters to him. The funeral of Nelson Mandela - he was there. The funeral of Margaret Thatcher - he couldn’t be bothered. Both were important figures in world history; only one was crucial in winning the Cold War.
Bill Clinton also demeaned the office in his own, unique way.
The president has no interest in fighting terrorism beyond what he must do. Therefore, after the attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo, when world leaders united and marched in solidarity to honor the victims, Barack Obama was uninterested.
I agree with Hunter’s remarks about Obama, but all of that being said, I’m glad Obama was nyot at the funeral. Without him darkening* the assembly of folks there to honor Scalia & without the slobbering, fawning media showing closeups of Obama’s face every 30 seconds, people could focus on the beautiful service and the words of Scalia’s son.

Bigger picture: Religion. Justice Antonin Scalia was an old school Catholic. No way was Obama attending a Catholic Mass. He can give lip service to a Christian identity but when the chips are down, he will not be anywhere near actual Christian worship.
Good post. Thanks. The man is so far beneath greatness. You’d wish he’d at least fake representing America and Americans. Anger and sadness come to the heart as reactions, but you have to fight off those self-destructive feelings. People like him are immune to actual feelings and he would never lose an argument (in his own mind).
But kryptonite to every progressive his humor, especially ridicule. I keep a smile on after seeing him with that 10-pound binder yesterday, his “weekend work.” In my mind I see it spilling out of his hand and breaking apart. The pages scatter. Close-up photos reveal the pages are blank. Like the man.
Obama is doing the same thing to the presidency that Frankie is doing to being the pope. Liberals destroy EVERYTHING they touch. What they are doing is more than likely INTENTIONAL.
Traitorobama demeans the office by his very presence, just as Traitorcongress demeans its office by not impeaching Traitorobama.

I saw the videos of his meeting yesterday, it was with BLM and civil rights leaders. The entire room was filled with black Americans, I guess they were Americans, plotting and planning against whitey. That is where he was during Justice Scalia’s funeral.
Yes, the left has made it their first order of business for decades to infiltrate and destroy every institution they could, since the full-frontal assaults of the Sixties didn’t quite kill off everything. It’s amazing how they’ve even managed to infiltrate the bulwarks of conservatism, the Christian churches and the military. Despicable demonic tools.
Probably promising them yet more hundreds of thousands of taxpayer money.
Obama is a class-less boob. He is very dis-respectful of people who disagree with him. And he has little or no regard for traditions because he wanted to transform the country. At least he warned us of his intentions.
