What I can't figure out is this:
His first name is Mohamed
His second name is Barry
In West African country of Guinea..how come "Barry" is a second name,
My guess it would be more like "Barack."
Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia had many former slaves who sought resettlement there. Many of them have western names, such as Phillip and Christopher, both in my church here.
You even find people with tribal first names and Western last names, Western first names and tribal last names.
The surprise is being from Guinea. Most of the Muslims in these countries are very quick to distance themselves from their Arabic “brothers”.
Barry is the Anglicized form of Barack.
