Biggest Planes, Super Planes, Top 10 biggest planes #Aircraft #AirPlanes #Transporters Trump 757

"Watched a program called "Great Planes" on the Smithsonian Channel. It was about the Doanld's Boeing 757 they call the "T-Bird". The program does describe the plane but more importantly it shows you a great deal about the man who owns it. It shows his attention to detail, his drive and I think maybe most of all, the way his employees and those who do work for him respect him. I recommend it as a good way to get to know the 'other side' of The Donald'. It could change your vote."

Done Corleone posted earlier about Trump's jet. He did not have a link. I just found the link he was talking about. I is worth posting this link separately. The Trump plane is fascinating. Says a lot about the man. And those who think Trump is not spending money on this campaign, need to look at this airplane and estimate just how expensive it is. I can't even imagine.

You have to look at cost per hour 24/7 even if it’s not being flown; the expense meter runs 24/7 ...

Boeing quit making the 757, thinking a stretched 737 could take up the slack. It can’t. Airlines want a modern 757 replacement. Rumor is Boeing is looking into a modern 757 replacement.

The cost must be brutal. I’ll guess $5,000 per hour minimum.

As I understand it, a NEW AF1 has been purchased. I seriously doubt it will be trimmed with gold, even at the multiple billion dollar price tag.

The costs of keeping the Tbird going is ongoing regardless of the Presidential race. I’m just amazed that anybody has that kind of energy. I couldn’t do it!

If he runs government the way he runs business, inefficiency of government will be a thing of the past! That’ll be good to see, ya think?

The two 747’s that currently serve as Air Force One (any plane the president rides on is called Air Force One), came into service in 1990. They are 26 years old.

The Air Force requires that the presidential jet have 4 engines. The only 2 models of airliners still being made with 4 engines are the Boeing 747-800 and the AirBus A380. The president is not going to use an AirBus as the presidental jet, so 747 it is for a replacement.

The problem is, the 747-800 is not selling very well. The 777 is getting all the sales because it is more fuel efficient and only requires maintenance on 2 engines instead of 4. Boeing has ramped down 747 production to 6 per year. The assembly line will probably close down for good in a few years.

The Air Force will probably order the last two 747-800 that come off the assembly line at Boeing. The new presidental jets will probably be in service around 2020 or 2022.

That is simply false.

You have so much hate in your heart that if you are a Christian it is all fake like the fakeness you profess Trump to be!

A 25 year-old 757 is NOT an overly impressive business/executive jet.

Yeah, a new-build airliner based exec jet IS impressive, especially a widebody.

And a new large Gulfstream 4/5/6, while somewhat smaller, is just as nice, with longer range...by a lot. And will cost a lot more.

Well the insides are very impressive. Give me a break. There are very few people who can match Trump.

I think Trump is a little OCD about his airplane.
