I used to go to a Bible study with Missouri Synod Lutherans. The only ones more hardheaded than them is the Wisconsin Synod. God Bless them all!

It had to be a bomb. What else could cause an explosion and rip a hole in that part of the plane?

Does Mogadishu even have a functional airport? What’s their air-traffic control system, two tin cans and a string? A guy on a rooftop with a pair of JCPenney binoculars? Semaphore flags?

If I am guesstimating right it is about seat 13F or so. Looks like they wanted the bomb above a center fuel tank like TWA 800 and misjudged.

Can’t see any way the bomber/person in window seat could have survived that blast based on the hole it blew in the plane.......2nd person had to be one next to him........

We got off of an Aero Mexico flight in Cozumel and laughed when we saw the nose of the plane had been patched with duct tape. When we got back on a week later we saw that the duct tape had been covered with a coat of fresh paint.
We never flew Aero Mexico again, God only knows how they patched up the engine.
